Those who were like flaming fire took Enoch and brought him to the place where no flesh walks: to the treasuries of the winds, to the river of fire that flows into the great sea, to the end of heaven and earth. There he saw seven stars like great burning mountains, bound because they did not come forth at their appointed times: the prison of the stars.
Uriel, Raphael, Raguel and Michael go with him and answer him. Raphael explains the hollow places where the souls of the dead assemble until the day of judgment, and shows him the spirit of Abel, making suit against Cain. Michael explains the mountain whose summit is like the throne of God, and the tree of fragrance beyond all fragrance whose fruit will be given to the righteous.
Then Enoch crosses the desert of the trees of frankincense and myrrh, passes over the Erythraean Sea, and comes to the Garden of Righteousness, where stands the tree of wisdom from which the first parents ate. And at the ends of the earth he sees the portals of heaven, through which come the stars, the winds, the dew and the rain.
