Before the flood, two hundred Watchers came down on Mount Hermon. They swore an oath together, took wives among men, and taught them what they were never meant to know: weapons, ornaments, enchantments, the signs of heaven. From them the giants were born, and the earth was filled with blood.
The cry rose up to heaven. Four brought the cause before the throne, and the sentence came. And one righteous man, Enoch, was sent to deliver it to the Watchers themselves.
